Information We Collect
When you request a quote through the form on this site, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email address, your moving dates, current and destination addresses, and a general description of what you are moving. If you call our Pasadena office instead, our team notes down the same details to put together your estimate. We do not collect payment card numbers or bank account information through the quote form itself.
How We Use Your Information
We use what you send us to build an accurate flat-rate or hourly quote, and if you book with us, to schedule your crew and carry out the move. That may mean a call or email from our office to confirm a detail, adjust a date, or check in after move day. We do not sell or rent your contact information, and we do not pass your details to other moving companies, brokers, or lead-generation networks — Proton Moving Company is the only business that ever sees your quote request.
Cookies and Site Analytics
This site uses standard cookies and analytics tools to understand which pages get read and whether the contact form is working properly. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You are free to disable cookies in your browser, though the quote form and some site features may work less smoothly without them.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of outside services to run day-to-day operations — a customer relationship management system to track quotes and jobs, standard business email and phone providers, and a payment processor if you settle an invoice by card. None of these services are permitted to use your information for their own marketing, and we do not store your card number ourselves.
Data Retention
We keep quote and job records as long as reasonably needed for scheduling, invoicing, and claims purposes, plus any additional period required by California and federal recordkeeping rules for household-goods carriers. Once that window closes, whatever’s left gets deleted or archived in a way that’s no longer traceable back to you.
California Residents’ Rights (CCPA)
Because Proton Moving Company operates in California, California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information — something we do not do in the first place. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the timeframe California law requires.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for adults arranging a move, and our quote form is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If how we collect or handle information changes, we will update this page and the effective date below. We will not make a material change to how we use information already collected without a reasonable way for you to find out.
